To download an executable:
Click on the file name or right
click on the filename and select "Save target as" (MSIE)
or "Save Link
as" (Netscape)
To view a document:
Click on the file name if using MS Internet
Explorer
To download a document or CGM:
Right click on the filename
and select "Save target
as"
(MSIE) or "Save Link as" (Netscape)
NOTE: If you click the document
file in Internet Explorer it will open a Word viewer window
and you can read the document. If you do the same thing using
Netscape Navigator you will see a window showing the text view
of the Word document: a bunch of gibberish. |
