System Configuration Options
- A stand-alone Sun workstation consisting of a Sun workstation with an 8mm
tape drive and sufficient disk space for complete INTELLEX installation.
- A Sun network consisting of a server and one or more clients. (Example:
A Geoquest or Landmark system on a server and one or more seats for interpretation.)

Hardware & Software Requirements
Computer |
Sun workstation running Solaris 2.x
Examples: SPARCstation 5, 10, 20; UltraSPARC (Desktops); Enterprise (Servers) |
Memory |
Minimum: 8 MB
Recommended: 64 MB or higher (for graphics speed) |
Disk |
Minimum: 1 GB (aside from operating system disk(s)
Recommended: 2-4 GB for Oracle table space plus 1 GB for every 4 users. |
Tape Drive |
Optional, but needed somewhere on the network for software and database
updates.
Recommended: 8mm (high or low density). |
CD Drive |
Optional, but needed somewhere on the network for operating system
and/or Oracle installation. |
Plotter |
A plotter accessible on the network from the machine(s) running INTELLEX.
Examples: Versatec (any), HP650, HP750. |
Plotter Software |
Any network queue manager that accepts standard CGM plotfiles. Note:
Plotter software should be licensed to accept a CGM plot file from multiple
vendors, such as Intellex, Landmark and Geoquest. |
Oracle® Software |
(run-time or full license) Version 7.0 or higher. Allocate 2-4 GB
of table space. |

Installation includes:
Install INTELLEX software and data bases. Includes:
- User accounts, passwords, and paths to Sun system files for all hardware
authorized to run INTELLEX.
- Energy Graphics databases*
- Background Culture - Shipping Lanes - Wells - Field Outlines - Pipelines
- Water Depth Contours - Lease History - Texas State Leases - Bid History
- Configure INTELLEX files to allow plotting to an attached plotter as defined
under Hardware Requirements.
- Test plots to confirm completion of installation of INTELLEX program and
databases.Initial Basic
- Training session for company employees plus special application workshops
held monthly. (On-Line Tutorial, Help, and Documentation.)
* Note: Gulf of Mexico Directional Surveys are available for license seperately
through Energy Graphics.

Additional Services
The following additional services may be at the customer's request before
or after the time of installation at a rate of US $75/hr (1 hour minimum).
Load Third-party Vendors' Data (having formats supported by INTELLEX). Includes:
- well data (locations, tops, directionals)
- shot point data (locations, horizons)
- land culture data (land grid, surveys, abstracts, T&R)
