The INTELLEX Exploration System
The INTELLEX Exploration System is an easy to use software package that handles the complex problems of:
- Data Management
- Information Reporting
- Mapping, including GIS onscreen display and printing as well as full size map output
INTELLEX comes with the Energy Graphics proprietary onshore* and offshore U.S. data to compliment the customer's own seismic and other data.
The current Unix version of INTELLEX utilizes the SUN Sparc platform running Solaris 2.x and the Oracle 7 or Oracle 8 Relational DataBase Management System.
The PC version 5.0 gives you all the power of the Unix version in a user friendly PC interface.
Mapping
INTELLEX enables you to create completed maps in minutes, allowing you more time for the important task of evaluating subsurface data. Mapping features include:
- Energy Graphics data, providing immediate mapping ability.
- Quick and easy map creation anywhere in the world in any scale and projection.
- Line and Style Managers that allow you to use your own custom drafting standards for each datatype.
- Color enhancement of data for easy identification.
- Data retrieval according to your specified qualifications on any number of data attributes.
- Graphics screen previewing and editing to save plotter time and resources.
Data
Energy Graphics is constantly adding new data types to its databases.
- Current exploration data types which can be managed and posted with INTELLEX include land and offshore background culture, water depth contours, picked horizons, seismic shotpoints, 3-d surveys, lease history, pipelines, external contours and graphics files, well locations, drilling history, directionals, tops and faults.
- Energy Graphics proprietary databases are continuously updated by our Database Department to assure customers of the most current data.
- Third-Party Agreements allow Energy Graphics to provide some of the most popular proprietary database information to those users who have licensed digital data such as abstracts, surveys, sections, and township/ranges, well locations, tops, etc.
Data Management
The INTELLEX Exploration System allows you to fully manage data, whether it be in-house, third-party, data generated from other software programs, or data from Energy Graphics databases. Data Management Functions include:
- Data loading and exporting, supporting most third-party formats.
- Data storage, retrieval, editing, reporting, graphic
- Data loading and exporting from both graphics and non-graphics terminals on a network.
- Full-screen inspection and editing of directional surveys, leases, lease blocks, pipelines, and wells contained in INTELLEX databases either directly from the database, from a specific lease block, or from a map displayed on the screen.
- Inspection and/or editing of wells, well tops, lease history, shotpoints and lease block data contained in INTELLEX databases either from a map displayed on the screen, a specified lease block, or directly from the desired database.
- Non-graphics Quick Well Printout function, allowing the user to print information on individual wells without having to post the well data to a map.
